Dogefather ETH is safe from Vitalik Buterin!
Ethereum’s co-founder Vitalik Buterin, who became the world’s youngest known crypto billionaire less than two weeks ago, dumped over $1 Billion in ‘meme’ related crypto in a matter of hours on the 13th May, 2021.
He made the price dump by offloading massive amounts of dog-themed meme tokens, which he was “gifted” by the creators of Shiba Inu coin (SHIB), Dogelon (ELON), Akita Inu (AKITA), mwDOGE (mwDOGE) and OURSHIB (OSHIB).
However, the most astonishing of all of this is that these coins were never meant to leave Vitalik’s wallet in the first place. The tokens were transferred to him as a type of Token Burn. Those who partake in this type of burn put their trust in the founder of Ethereum to not spend the coins at his will. These doge themed coins have taken off following Dogecoin’s staggering rally over the last few months. Though built around similar memes, these coins tend to have much larger token supplies. For example Dogefather ETH has a max supply of 100 quadrillion coins.
Buterin donated 50 trillion SHIB tokens worth $1.2 Billion
In a single transaction, Buterin donated 50 trillion SHIB tokens worth $1.2 Billion the date of May 12, 16:37 pm E.T. to the India Covid Relief Fund set up by Indian tech entrepreneur Sandeep Nailwal. Sandeep is the co-founder and COO of Polygon, a protocol which aggregates scalable solutions on Ethereum in a multi-chain system. Coincidentally, earlier in April, Buterin donated about $600,000 in ether and maker (MKR) tokens to the fund.
Dogefather ETH also believes in giving back. The Dogefather is a frictionless yield generation token whom lives on the Ethereum network! This yield generation method distributes 2% of all transactions back to the remaining holders of the coin. This ingenious re-distribution method is what everyone is crazing over! Imagine just holding Dogefather in your wallet and seeing the amount you hold go up every day!
There are plenty of other tokens that have similar yield generation methods. However, many of these tokens ‘burned’ parts of their supply to Vitalik Buterin. Allowing him to spend the coins as he wishes. Dogefather ETH instead chose the commonly used address for token burning. Since there is no actual way to generate private keys for the address: 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead
